easyHotel Sheffield

Seriously, I though if easy hotel is as low quality as Easyjet, it would not be a great stay but it was just for night so I did not bother too much. I took 13 of my customers there and we were hiking in the Peaks so it was a good base for us so I did not expect much. Both I and my clients were very happily surprised...First the receptionist was absolutely fantastic. She was on it, smiley, polite and engaging. I thought the check-in would take ages as I had 5 different bookings but this was the fastest check-in I went through and I travel at least twice per month. Everything was ready as we arrived, by name and phone numbers, this lady is a jewel! (Sorry I did not ask for her name but she The rooms are basic but in a good way. You have everything you need, the space you need, comfortable bed, tv, nice warm and powerful shower and you can ask for hairdryer and iron at reception... my group emptied the hairdryer drawer when we came in...sorry about it...we like to look pretty! The location is great, two minutes walk to Lidl and Sainsburys, 5-10 to the city centre and there is a nice food court called Cambridge Street collective with the big portions we needed about 10 minutes walk. Great for large groups! Both the rail and bus/coach station are about 10 minutes walk.

I liked that it was centrally located, not too far off the train station, It was clean, modern inside, shower in good working order with hot water, well maintained and clean. The staff were polite, friendly and kind.

Close by the train station and able to do (very) early checkout. Room was compact, but reasonably well appointed with good shower and comfy bed. Reasonable price (but extra for pillows seems a bit tight…)

Lovely staff, clean, best location. Will come again. Next to restaurants and shops and markets. Easy public transportation. Excellent hotel. A very helpful front desk personnel. At 6am in the morning on a Saturday he was so kind to help me with a document going beyond expectations of customer service. A staff that gives 150% to his job. EasyHotel Sheffield should be proud to have such a kind and helpful front desk personnel.

Have stayed here before but without a window which wasn't great for a night out, paid a tiny bit extra (around £7 each) for a twin room with a window and it was much better - a lot less disorienting waking up to daylight! Rooms are always clean, beds always comfortable enough although would have liked 2 pillows each. Small rooms but enough for one night. Tea and coffee and snacks vending in the lobby. Very friendly staff, super efficient checking in/out process and excellent location if you're staying overnight in the city as you're right in the centre - 15 min walk from the station, 10 min walk from the High Street shops and a tram stop right outside if you're venturing further afield. Will continue to use EasyHotel when staying in Sheffield and needing somewhere central and convenient.
